System Test Engineer

This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment, Vehicle Electrification Systems business unit.

We have an exciting opportunity for a System Test Engineer that will be located in Troy, MI.

Through system integration and innovation, we strongly believe that there is an opportunity deliver more power electronics performance, efficiency and value as OEMs develop their next generation EV and PHEV offerings to fulfill consumer demand that we can further accelerate. With your experience, we will execute this vision and make it happen in the very near term.

You are:

• Responsible for performing various Electrical, Environmental and Intrusion tests for all integrated power electronics products.
• Work closely with HW, SW and Systems engineering teams to understand the requirements.
• Participate in System design and Architecture reviews.
• Mentor team members on System testing for Integrated power Electronic product best practices.
• Strong understanding of relevant ISO, IEC, GB T and CISPR requirements.
• Ensure Customer requirements are met.

Basic (Required) Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field from an accredited institution
• A minimum of Two (2) years of System verification and validation experience in automotive/power conversion industry
• Excellent understanding of Power electronics hardware and topology
• Strong communication skills that translate the benefits of technical decisions in your field to colleagues, management, and other stakeholders, including customers
• Experience using Oscilloscopes, signal generators, high voltage power supplies, data acquisition systems etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of Three (3) years of System verification and validation experience in automotive/power conversion industry.
• Hardware in the loop set up experience.
