System Test Engineer

We are seeking a System Test Engineer in the Weston, FL area.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Leads Verification and Validation testing for the System, Sub-System and Module requirements.
• Develops Verification Protocols, Verification Reports, and Engineering Studies across multidisciplinary systems.
• Develop Test project schedules and V&V Test Matrix.
• Review project specifications to understand the system performance requirements.
• Setup and debug complex test systems including complex Robotics Systems.
• Develop Test Fixtures using SolidWorks, MATLAB, and LabView
• Support problem-solving, and root cause analysis, identify potential solutions, and evaluate them against requirements.
• Under supervision, execute analytical study protocols, including trade studies, sensitivity studies, optimization studies, performance assessments, and design assessments.
• Participate in system integration testing.
• Investigate and recommend systems/tools to support continuous integration and test automation objectives and processes.
• Provide Verification test updates on projects to Department and Program Managers.
• Participates as required in R&D departmental policies and procedure updates.
• Qualify measurement systems for accuracy, precision, and stability by performing MSA.
• Provide feedback to developers, system designers, and project managers on requirements, test solutions, and project execution deliverables when needed.
• Participate in Cadaver labs to develop an understanding of the surgical workflow.

WHAT YOU NEED:

MUST HAVES

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• 0-2 years of experience in System Engineering
• Demonstrated experience using SolidWorks, MATLAB, and LabView.
• Communication and Presentation ability.

NICE TO HAVES

• Knowledge and understanding of Requirement Management Tools
• Demonstrated experience in leading Integration activities.
• Experience with C/C++ is a plus
• Internship or Co-Op experience, preferably in the medical field.
• System Engineering experience, preferably in the medical field
• System integration and testing knowledge/experience
• Ability to read and interpret system architectures
