THE POSITION
The Systems Test Manager position will work in a multi-disciplinary team involved in the design and development of electronic braking systems (EBS). This will include a variety of activities, which are integral toward ensuring our safety critical EBS systems are developed according to state-of-the-art requirements and methodologies. This position includes, but is not limited to, product verification and validation; requirements and test traceability analysis/documentation; and product quality gate review preparation.
Core Responsibilities: • Developing System Test strategies, plans and schedules for achieving project releases.• Ensuring the availability and technical quality of test inputs, including test environments.• Driving, organizing, and monitoring test implementation, update, execution, and failed tests evaluation.• Performing risk assessments, managing problem reports and customer issues from testing point of view.• Continuously increasing System Test efficiency through automation.• Providing required project metrics and test status reports.• Ensuring version management, process, and safety standards compliance.• Participating in internal and external project audits.• Collaborating with an international development team and customers.

Job Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent degree in related technical discipline • 2 years of automotive experience within engineering (software, industrial, mechanical, etc.) • Knowledge of verification and validation testing • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English • Good organizational skills • Strong interest to work in the automotive industry • Some travel is required for training and to support customer meetings (up to 10%)• Intermediate user of MS Excel and other Office software• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.• Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • 5 years of automotive experience and Master of Engineering or equivalent degree in related technical discipline • Knowledge/experience working with ISO 26262 • Experience working in the automotive industry • Experience with DVP&R activities • Experience with vehicle dynamics development • Expert user of Excel and other MS Office Software• Ability to achieve positive goal for project or organization even with complex or ambiguous direction
