System Verification Engineer

Overview

Work with engineers and designers to support the Product Design and Development team by testing and verifying product performance, specifications, and requirements for new product platforms. Have a Bachelors degree? Have experience in manufacturing, engineering or product development? If so, we want to speak with you! We are recruiting a System Verification Engineer to join the Product Design and Development team in Richmond, VA.

This position will be responsible for executing tests and documenting results related to data collected from prototypes, interacting with existing data infrastructure to develop key new insights, Engineering iOS APP management and a variety of Windows utilities, and working with product designers to execute overall system testing / verification for both current and new platforms.

What you will be doing:• Prepare and verify product performance and usage data for subsequent analysis by data science infrastructure• Conduct experiments to test and verify product designs and performance utilizing product on board data and recommend improvements• Work with Product Designers to determine functionality test requirements, review product designs, write test procedures, and document test results• Specific areas of focus include (but not limited to):

Work with engineers to understand and verify new firmware features / refinements and develop / execute test plans to verify functionality:

- Recommend feature refinements and new firmware features to improve user experience

- Test for firmware bugs and ensure proper traceability of the observed issues

- Execute Mechanical & Electrical performance verification testing• Responsible for managing iOS Engineering APP and Windows based utilities improvements and revisions that would improve the interface with internal panelists and product developers.• Responsible for verification of new APP releases prior installation on IPAD's.

What we want you to have:• Bachelor degree in Science, Applied Physics, or Engineering with experience in Electro-mechanical engineering/testing• 1-3 years of work experience in development/testing of products
