Systematic Index Options Trader

Your Core Responsibilities: 

• Our Index Options team chases edge in volatility valuation, detailed execution, and fast technology.
• We evolve our strategy through both iterating and innovating: improving existing systems, algorithms, or processes, as well as creating new ones that augment our framework.
• You will focus on maximizing pnl through applying and adapting current trading strategies and algorithms, or researching and designing new trading strategies and algorithms.
• You will be able to take lots of responsibility and ownership early in your time here to drive initiatives or strategies forward.
• We are a highly collaborative group of generalists and specialists. Together we strive to have deep expertise, ownership, and innovation in the topic areas that are important to winning in the Index Options space.

Your Skills and Experience: 

• 2+ years of Index Options trading experience
• BS, MS, or PhD preferably in mathematics, science, financial engineering, or computer science
• Experience with programming, preferably in Python
• You are highly analytical and seek to make or validate decisions in a data-driven manner
• You enjoy working in a fast-paced and competitive environment
• You are curious and self-motivated to keep making progress
• You enjoy working in a team environment where multiple specialists will rely on each others’ expertise
