Systems Administration (Remote Opportunity)

VetsEZ is seeking a full-time remote Systems Administrator to deliver integrated health solutions and focus on deploying high-volume interfaces and interoperability software.

The candidate must reside within the continental US.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize data transfer between AWS sites and onboarding of partners and expansion of HIE using integration solutions
• Integrate systems and applications using HL7v2, HL7v3, CDA, X12, FHIR, and other standards
• Develop customer-specific solutions for a growing HIE practice
• Analyze new use cases and assist in the creating of solution designs that leverage the HIE platform for effective, scalable operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other technical related field
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT or health information exchange setting
• Hands-on experience working with healthcare standards of HealthIT Interoperability and Interfaces, such as HL7, IHE, X12
• Experience working with various data formats, such as CCD/CDA, XML, and JSON
• Ability to write detailed, accurate interface specifications and other documents for both a technical and management audience
• Experience with SDLC tools and methodologies (including Agile) and modern source control systems such as Atlassian and GIT

Additional Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
• Experience with VA Health Portfolio and Informatics Product Line is a plus.
• Experince in Data Integration Modernizations and Secure Messaging is a plus.
• Team-oriented contributor with excellent interpersonal skills
• Background in the Department of Veterans Affairs is a must.
