The Role:
As a Systems Administrator at Electric, you will be providing world-class Systems Administration to our internal staff who are based in NY, across the country and internationally. The role reports to the CISO. This position requires an IT professional who is well-rounded in all aspects of IT administration. This would include managing and integrating SaaS apps into our IAM platform (Okta), administering Google Workspace, maintaining devices with Jamf and Kaseya, network administration as well as staying focused on meeting our SOC 2 Type II requirements for our company and customer data on a daily basis.

What You’ll Do:
- Manage our Google Workspace. Manage domain wide configuration, security, and mail settings
- Work alongside a dedicated Endpoint Team to package software, updates, upgrades, and policies for our managed devices using Jamf and Kaseya
- Onboard new SaaS apps. Integrate with IAM Single Sign On using SAML. Configure JIT or SCIM based auto-provisioning
- Resolve escalations from our support techs
- Maintain and expand our network. Install new equipment, update firmware, configure VLANS, and create firewall rules
- Implement data security practices in alignment with SOC 2 Type II requirements
- Work closely with People Ops team and all stakeholders to facilitate the on-boarding and offboarding of all employees and contingent workers
- Implement security policies at the IT level, such as RADIUS for wifi, endpoint wipes and software pushes
- Build and maintain automations along various parts within the IT environment
- Proactive monitoring and alerting on endpoints
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of relevant technical, administrator and customer service experience
- Are able to work from our NYC HQ 2-3 days per week
- Able to collaborate across teams, providing top-notch ‘customer service’ to our internal staff
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, providing a wide-range of technical assistance and triaging issues
- Experience using and troubleshooting Mac and Windows OS
- In-depth practical knowledge of troubleshooting, integration, and administration of all commonly used SaaS applications. These would include items such as 1Password, Slack, Zoom, etc
- Experience using Okta, or other IAM tools, to implement SSO and provisioning workflows
- Solid Google Workspace Administration experience.
- General knowledge of packaging and deploying software and OS updates with MDM solutions such Jamf and Kaseya. Jamf 200 Level Certification or higher is preferred
- Network administration and troubleshooting background.
- Superior attention to detail as well as excellent organizational and project management abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You have the ability to document your work for your team, as well as create documentation for end-users.
