Job Description

Imagen Technologies is a high growth healthcare startup enabling patients to be diagnosed, treated, and managed at their primary care appointment (vs. having to refer out to hospitals, imaging centers and other slow and expensive options). Today, we’ve built an AI-enabled platform that enables patients to receive immediate diagnostic tests, immediate results, and immediate next steps – all in a single Primary Care appointment. For example: through our platform, women across the U.S. are now receiving comprehensive breast imaging, results, and specialist-driven next steps at their local Primary Care office, condensing a multi-month diagnostic journey into 60 minutes.

With over $135m in funding from Google Ventures and some of the largest clinical networks in the country, we are rapidly expanding this platform across the U.S. - from 7 states and 50,000 patients in 2022, to 16 states and 500,000 patients in 2023. By 2026, we will be delivering care across 35 states and to more than 5m patients per year.

We are looking for someone who is excited and motivated to partner with doctors and enable technology to support them as they deliver high quality patient care. The Systems Administrator role focuses on all aspects of enabling technology to meet the needs of the users and the clinical workflow.

Responsibilities:

  • Server as the subject matter expert for the PACS platform and be responsible for the overall management to include the day to day administration, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Support the specialists and the systems being used by them to provide their service with maximum uptime and efficiency as needed
  • Troubleshoot and identify issues and then drive them to resolution in coordination with the team, vendors and/or customers
  • Support the customer and specialists’ on-boarding process
  • Ensure on-going system integration and proper data flow
  • Provide application-level support as needed
  • Monitor systems performance as it relates to overall operation and network performance to minimize slowdowns and downtime
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot PACS and associated devices and software
  • Ownership for creation and documentation of processes within assigned area
  • Identify any inefficiencies in end-to-end workflow from scheduling to billing
  • Interact with solution vendors as needed to ensure optimal solution operation
  • Document and resolve issues reported by users in a timely manner
  • Participate in team on-call rotations

Qualifications:

  • A demonstrated track-record of implementing and/or supporting systems
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Have five years experience (preferred) delivering high quality support services at a technical and/or administrative level (healthcare-oriented technology preferred), achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Working knowledge (or clear ability to learn quickly) of DICOM and HL7
  • Knowledge of HIPAA Regulations and Patient Health Information (PHI)
  • In-depth knowledge of the full life-cycle of an imaging exam within radiology including all systems, users, interaction points and status changes. Ideally both within a hospital and for a teleradiology practice
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the roles and workflows within a radiology practice (and teleradiology)
  • Experience with any or all of the following systems and technologies: eRAD PACS, 3M MMODAL Fluency, Studycast, Candelis, LogMeIn, GSUITE
  • Effective communication skills - oral, written, and presentation
  • Effective communication with physicians, clinical staff, management, and vendors
  • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of equivalent job experience, preferably in a healthcare or technology discipline
