Systems Administrator

Job Description

BITCO Corporation is currently seeking a Systems Administrator to join our Home Office team in Davenport, IA. BITCO provides quality insurance services to special industries including construction, forest products, and oil gas. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

Position Summary:

As part of the IT Operations team, this position, installs, configures, maintains, and repairs servers, systems, and subsystems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain computer systems to ensure effective and efficiently running of BITCO business operations
• Plans and coordinates maintenance, repairs and changes in accordance with change management policies and communicates expected changes clearly to the Company
• Administration of systems and server subsystems to ensure availability of services to authorized users
• Determines performance requirements to monitor and test service and server systems performance regularly
• Documents server systems design and configuration
• Supports Office 365/Exchange Environment
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience. Degrees in computer science or computer engineering preferred
• Minimum 3 years' of experience with the following:
  • Managing Active Directory including implementation of GPOs to support the implementation settings on file and print services, DNS, Domain Controllers and application servers
  • Working with PAM, End Point Management, IAM System and disk encryption tools
  • Utilizing PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform, Python
  • Managing Content Management Systems
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Monitoring and Analytics tools
  • Virtual Infrastructure

• Demonstrated knowledge and applied understanding with the following:
  • Windows systems administration
  • Systems and Infrastructure Security

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
