Systems Administrator

As a Systems Administrator at Regard, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining IT operations and supporting our growing business. You will be responsible for setup and deployment of end-user devices (Mac, Linux, Windows), ensuring their hardware and software compliance. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Engineering team to maintain server infrastructure, perform routine system audits, and troubleshoot end-user technical issues. This role will sit in the Engineering organization, but will work closely with other teams as well, providing support to the entire company.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy end user devices (Mac, Linux, Windows)
• Maintain end user devices (Mac, Linux, Windows) hardware and software
• Ensure accurate inventory and systems are compliant with security practices
• Monitor endpoint device health using existing management tools (MDM), and respond to hardware or software issues as they arise
• Work with our Engineering team to support server infrastructure systems (monitoring, patching, routine maintenance, deployments)
• Field and support end user technical issues or questions
• Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems

Qualifications

• 3+ years troubleshooting experience with proven success in an IT role
• Experience with or knowledge of one or more programming languages (Bash, Python, Powershell)
• Experience with Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems
• Experience with Linux server administration
• Experience with device imaging or MDM solutions
• Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS) preferred
