Position Overview:

The Systems Administrator ensures availability of Windows Server, while overseeing the installation, maintenance, upgrade, and patching of the systems. Analyzes server performance and proactively addresses issues. Confirms continuity of systems and cloud environments run optimally. Manage enterprise-wide email. Assist with acquisition’s email and AD integrations.

What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day:

• Install/maintain/upgrade/patch Windows Server 2016/2019
• Proactively resolves potential issues on Windows Server
• Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve email and server issues quickly.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and server builds.
• Create knowledgebase articles for Windows, and security solutions to be used by Service Desk
• Ensure backup solutions are running optimally and error-free.

Education (Required Minimum):

• Bachelor’s degree related to IT or comparable field experience required

Related Experience (Required prior experience):

• Experience in a Systems Administration role with in-depth, hands-on experience in the following areas:
  • Windows Server 2016/2019 administration
  • Active Directory, DHCP, DNS
  • AWS/Azure
  • Infrastructure as code (preferably Powershell)
  • Exchange/O365
  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Terraform a plus
• Applicable experience includes, but is not limited to, computer and networking infrastructure, operating systems, application software development, project management, regulatory compliance

Certifications (Preferred):

• Current MCSE (Infrastructure or Cloud Platform)
• AWS/Azure
