Systems Administrator

Position: Systems Administrator
Location: Remote Working Arrangement (Austin Metro)

Jackalyptic Games is seeking a talented and experienced Systems Administrator to join our team. As Systems Administrator you will work closely with our game design and development teams. The Systems Administrator is the first point of contact for end users’ issues and will own the desktop support lifecycle including troubleshooting, hardware, and licensed software solutions.

Responsibilities:
•    Troubleshooting of user reported hardware and software issues
•    Onboarding and provisioning of new users, including shipping of equipment and first day onboarding assistance.
•    Maintaining the appropriate number of software licenses and desktop hardware to support projected hiring ramp. Working with the procurement team and managing inventory of corporate assets.
•    Offboarding and deprovisioning of users, including organizing equipment return with the user.
•    Management and configuration of desktop management and monitoring software to automate installation and responds to hardware issues.
•    Collaborate with the Senior Systems Administrator on back office architecture and configuration.
•    Maintain the IT office and keep equipment secure.

Requirements:
•    2 or more years of desktop administration experience
•    Experience supporting Windows desktops and end users in a remote environment
•    Ability to life at least 50 lbs and have reliable transportation
•    Typically 1 to 2 days in the office on a weekly basis

 Nice-to-Have:
•    Familiarity with Microsoft inTune and endpoint management solutions
•    Familiarity supporting game development teams in a remote environment
•    Scripting and automation experience in Powershell, Python, or other language
•    Familiarity supporting Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure, etc.)
•    Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
•    Familiarity with security solutions and investigation of security anomalies
