Systems Administrators at Array are responsible for maintaining and optimizing our Windows and VMware environments, supporting both on-premises and cloud systems. You will manage server configurations, virtualized environments, and ensure system reliability across our infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on expert who can troubleshoot complex system issues, implement security protocols, and support both physical and virtual servers. Your work will play a key role in ensuring the stability and scalability of our growing IT operations. This is a contract position reporting directly to our SRE manager.

• Proven experience in configuring and managing Windows server environments, ensuring system performance, reliability, and security.
• In-depth knowledge of VMware, including installation, configuration, and maintenance to support virtualized environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), integrating on-premises Windows systems with cloud platforms seamlessly.
• Expertise in managing Active Directory, Group Policies, and DNS/DHCP configurations to support enterprise-level operations.
• Strong understanding of security principles, patch management, and system hardening to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
• Experience with monitoring and management tools like VMware vCenter, SCCM, and SolarWinds to proactively manage and troubleshoot system performance.

• Configure and maintain Windows servers and VMware infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and uptime across the organization.
• Deploy, configure, and manage VMware environments to support virtualization, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and maintain hybrid environments that integrate on-premises systems with cloud infrastructure.
• Proactively monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, responding to incidents to minimize downtime and ensure continuity.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Implement and enforce security best practices for Windows systems and virtual environments to protect against threats and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Pay Transparency:

$50+ per hour, depending on experience
