Job Summary:
The Systems Administrator I is responsible for the maintenance, support, and troubleshooting of information technology systems and networks used at the Bank. This position should be qualified in the areas of server and network administration, voice systems, as well as personal computer support. They will work with end-users, the Service Desk, and the Technology team to address and resolve problems and questions and will exhibit superior customer service skills.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
• Configures, maintains and troubleshoots the information technology systems and networks for the Bank
• Ensures systems are thoroughly tested, configured and installed according to defined standards, practices, and regulatory requirements
• Monitors and supports bank systems and alerts management of any performance or security issues
• Creates and maintains configuration diagrams, installation scripts and documentation
• Provides superior customer service to all employees at multiple locations
• Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
• 4-6 years experience
• Two-year post-secondary degree/specialized study preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Two-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
• At least four years of experience working with information technology in a highly available environment
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
• Knowledge of Windows server installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting required
• Knowledge of Exchange Server installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting required
• Knowledge of network and voice systems installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting required
• Prior/Current experience with Banking or Financial Institutions preferred
• Knowledge of Banking/Financial Institution regulatory requirements is helpful
