Systems Administrator

• Evaluates system specifications, input and output processes, and working parameters for hardware and software compatibility.
• Troubleshoots networking and operating system problems.
• Must be familiar with shell and kernel-level programming and system-specific requirements.
• Researches and recommends innovative and possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.

Experience and Education:

• Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
• May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
• Bachelor degree w/ emphasis in Information Technology 
• 3-5 + years of experience 

Required Skills: 

• Provide efficient operations and maintenance of select systems within the organization.
• Provides technical support within the Company IT infrastructure.
• Manage on-prem Active Directory
• Manage O365 Environment including but not limited to hybrid Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD, Intune.
• Manage and maintain overall health of Physical and Virtual environments.
• Maintain and monitor system health and stability of infrastructure systems.
• Perform backup and recovery of data and information on corporate servers/systems as needed.
• Server and workstation administration is primarily on Microsoft Windows OS, SQL servers, with some occasional Linux administration.
• Daily activities may include system backup administration, anti-virus administration, performance tuning, Microsoft Active Directory administration, administration of the physical IP cabling and IP address assignments, updating of network diagrams, security policy management, data access controls, software patch management, risk management, change control adm, etc.
