We are seeking a Sr. Engineer, IoT & Digital Workplace will play a key role in performing R&D, identification of new technologies to solve business problems, and roll out these successfully into production. The candidate is expected provide hands-on management activities related to systems management and administration both at the information systems and operational technologies level

With the ongoing and rapid advancement in the Prop-tech segment, the incumbent will have the opportunity to influence the security and network architecture when rolling out these emerging real estate capabilities across the portfolio. This role requires the ability to build relationships and create influence by winning trust of the regional stakeholders and a matrixed set of organizational leadership.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Enable a cloud-first approach for all technologies in scope, whether information systems or operational technologies
• Provide ongoing management, operations, and administration of a wide range of technology platforms ranging from IdP SSO management, content collaboration, malware protection, PC imaging, backup & restore etc.
• Partner with regional OT teams to support them in devising sound systems architecture to aid the deployment of building level operational technologies (HVAC, Elevator Systems, Lighting Controls, parking systems, etc.) in a consistent and secure manner.
• Support cross-functional teams with network segmentation between IT and OT environments and develop a plan to implement associated technologies
• Ensure the effectiveness and timely delivery of updates regarding status of activities with the team, peers, management, internal and external customers.
• Oversee hosted and Azure datacenters connectivity and ongoing service improvements in close coordination with the stakeholders.
• Partner with regional IT teams deliver infrastructure and network solutions that allow rapid deployment of services, helps acceleration of prop-tech adoption, solves problems, and secures the environment in a consistent fashion
• Leading the communication system design and delivery for new systems, upgrades, or replacements
• Preparing any control documents, test plans, reports, and installation drawings
• Contribute to the digital transformation of building system technologies
• Inventory key technologies in use across the portfolio and create a lifecycle mapping grid (automation systems, lighting, metering, CCTV, access control, elevators)
• Develop right-sized business cases with input from relevant stakeholders & market research
• Research innovative solutions and present succinct, intelligible artefacts for senior leadership to facilitate decisions around financial spend and adoption

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• 10 years of experience managing enterprise class infrastructure in a multi/hybrid cloud environment that includes Azure (inclusive of Office365), AWS, and on-prem, and cloud
• 3- 5 years' experience in IT management role
• Hands on experience configuring, managing, and administering enterprise grade networking infrastructure such as Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Meraki, etc.
• Must have the ability to effectively delegate and source work through direct reports and strategic vendors Managing upward and a cross teams will also be critical to succeed
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to manage network teams with a focus on adherence to SOX compliance standards. PCI compliance experience a plus.
• Exceptional understanding of, modern cloud infrastructure, network monitoring and management tools, NIST Framework, ITIL, complex networks
• Practical experience with dynamic routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP), SD-WAN, VoIP/Cloud Voice Solutions, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, SCCM and device/system patching
• Experience with Building Automation Systems, SIEM, MDR, Security tools for network and endpoint security, Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Meraki), Citrix and WVD/Workspaces
• Contribute to the cloud-based disaster recovery; build policy and be prepared to act in the event of outages.
• Track and report key performance metrics for network and cloud systems availability
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical people. Must possess influencing ability and can win the confidence of individuals at all levels, both inside and outside the organization
• Must have ability to prioritize, communicate and organize multiple projects of varying complexity, frequently under deadline pressure
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
• Must be adaptable to change and quickly learn new software and adapt to new technologies

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Type: Exempt

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly

Annual Base Salary Range: $110k-$120k

Medical & Pharmacy Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan

Vision Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan

Retirement: 401(k)
