Primary Responsibilities:

Performsmultiple functions to ensure IT infrastructure is available, reliable, andstable either individually or under the guidance of experienced personnel. Thisincludes the evaluation, selection, installation, and maintenance of operating systemssoftware and hardware. Monitoring the systems and serving as a focal point forsupport is also done routinely. Support is generally for small to medium scalesystems of the business.• Evaluate, customize, and maintain Windows client operating systems includinginstalling and testing new releases.• Monitor and evaluate operating efficiency, analyze performance and tuning.• Analyze system problems to identify problem areas.• Follow established procedures required for efficient management of clientworkstations.• Manage small to medium projects according to division standards andrequirements.• Work with peers to achieve goals and tasks based on guidance from management orother experienced personnel.• Remain knowledgeable of industry direction to apply to the business.• Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance withestablished HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of associates, thepublic, and the environment.

You Must Have:• US citizenship to obtain andmaintain US Dept. of Energy "Q" level security clearance.• Bachelor's degree in thefield of Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, with aminimum of 24 semester hours of computer-related courses, or two additionalyears of direct work experience in lieu of a degree.• Limited professionalexperience with at least 3 months of practical experience in a systemsadministration role is required; 1-3 years preferred.

We Value:• Skill in supporting PChardware, client operating systems (Windows and/or Linux), companion softwareand utilities• General knowledge andexperience with scripting tools such as PowerShell• Understands the fundamentalsand basic support needs of MS Office suite and Microsoft 365 Office Apps• General knowledge andexperience with client systems management software for patching, O/Sdeployment,

application deployment, driverupdates, BIOS updates, and configuration baselines• General knowledge andunderstanding of cyber security concepts• Excellent attention to detailand positive "can-do" attitude• Innovative, self-motivated,and able to interact with all levels of the organization• Demonstrate strong verbal,written, analytical and problem-solving skills
