The successful candidate will be accountable to support and lead ongoing security assessments and remediation activities for identity management server and application health. In addition, the candidate will work closely with key team members, partners, and customers to deliver systems that are used by the entire company and directly coordinated with our enterprise-focused products and services.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development, testing, implementation, deployment, reporting, and support of Blackberry's Identity Management systems
• Improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of systems at BlackBerry
• Maintain server and application health and compliance
• Research, innovate, and where possible automated approaches for system administration
• Deliver premier customer support to customers directly while also assisting with technical consultations and issues from internal and external partners
• Capacity plan, determine future needs, and investigate new products and features to support new growth, acquisitions, and divestitures
• Provide world-class support and reinforce customer confidence
• Effectively handle customer issues and escalations and ensure customer satisfaction

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent professional experience of at least 5 years
• Experience with a variety of Identity Management solutions and processes, Multi-factor Authentication, PKI, SAML, OAuth, SSO technologies, and Active Directory
• Working knowledge of Linux authentication including PAM and SSH authentication
• Experience delivering authentication services to cloud providers such as AWS and Azure
• General understanding of ITIL process, certification preferred
• Technical experience integrating strong authentication, access management, and PKI into clients, infrastructure, and applications
• 5 years of Information Technology experience including security vulnerability remediation
• Consistent record of improving the security posture of enterprise systems through the use of strong authentication and credential management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with information technology professionals, senior management, auditors, and vendors
• Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex problems into relevant user stories
• Ability to understand and digest technical information quickly
• Superb communication (fluent English both written and verbal) skills required
• Strong customer service orientation with a keen sense of urgency and priorities
• Excellent judgment and decision making skills with the ability to balance several priorities while continuing to meet deadlines
• Strong partnership and collaboration skills; able to develop and maintain effective relationships with peers, executives, customers, and other internal and external stakeholders
