Roles and Responsibilities:

The team seeks a full-time Systems Administrator to support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of IT systems in Classified lab environment. This is an early career role best suited for someone who has begun their career as a classified systems administrator and has interest in growing their career. This is an on-premises position on our Bedford, MA campus. The successful candidate will have experience in:

• Patching and updating Windows and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) server and desktop operating systems
• Updating anti-virus software definitions for Windows server and workstation
• Fundamental user maintenance activities on both Windows and Linux operating systems

Minimum Qualifications:

• SECRET-level clearance
• Working knowledge of server and client operating systems. (Win10, Srv2016+, RHEL, Ubuntu Linux)
• Fundamental understanding of lab IT architecture
• Fundamental understanding of system administration, network, and operating system hardening techniques.
• Fundamental understanding of operating system command-line tools.
• Ability to interfacing with customers and provide a high level of customer service
• Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum BS in related course of study
• Security+ Certification / 8570 Certification - IAT Level II
  • Must earn certification within 6-months of hire date
• Two years of experience
• DoD Top Secret Clearance (will accept Secret)
