Job Description

Team Broadleaf is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator Lead (LINUX) to join our Command-and-Control Support Agency (CCSA) Technical Services Division (TSD) support team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading multiple projects and departments, and will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience with LINUX administration for the US Army and on Command and Control (C2) systems is desired.

The Systems Administrator Lead (LINUX) shall posses extensive knowledge of IT networking, hardware, firmware, application software, operating system software, and database management systems (DBMS).

The ideal candidate must have at least 5+ years of experience in working in Information Technology, last seven must be in LINUX/UNIX System Administration. Required to be certified IAT Level III, IAW DoDD 8140.01/DoDI 8570.01-M at the time of contract initiation/on-boarding

The roles and responsibilities of a Systems Administrator Lead (LINUX) include

Installing, configuring, and tuning Operating Systems.

Troubleshooting operating systems, applications, databases, email systems, and complex data interface issues.

Managing Linux systems hosted in a complex, multi-layered network. Knowledge and experience with current IA and IT Security control implementation procedures.

Monitoring and intrusion/penetration detection and alert notification. SAN experience, to include enterprise backup solutions and fault tolerant technologies.
