Job Description:

Description: The Systems Administrator plans, builds, deploys, and maintains hosts based on the Windows Server operating system.

Typical Duties:

1. Designs, develops, documents, implements, trains and supports business and clinical systems in response to hospital information system needs.
2. Initiates and performs the Root Cause Analysis of any technical and application problems.
3. Demonstrates organizational skills by prioritizing workload.
4. Documents in detail all information regarding incidents and requests in ServiceNow, as well as accurate documentation of inventory and software process flows within knowledge base.
5. Participates in routine and unplanned server or application maintenance. This includes server/appliance installation.
6. Acts as a liaison between other departments or user groups to determine needs and define goals.
7. Participates in a 24x7 support team as needed. On-call rotation to be expected.
8. Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a system administrator role.
• 5 plus years of experience building and maintaining server platforms running Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• 5 plus years of experience implementing and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory environments.
• 3 plus years of experience building and managing Microsoft Exchange email systems. Exchange 2016 preferred.
• 3 plus years of experience creating and distributing group policies.
• 3 plus years of experience managing Domain Name System (DNS) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) services.
• Understanding of the fundamentals in networking and data communications.
3 plus years of experience with IIS
• 3 plus year experience renewing and maintaining server SSL certificates
• 3 plus years VMWare ESXi Administration
• 2 plus years Office 365 Administration.
• 2 plus years Linux administration
Preferred Education and Experience:
• 2 plus years of experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
• 2 plus years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
• Current Windows Admin/Office 365 certifications are a bonus
