The Systems Administrator is required to have an active secret security clearance as they will be responsible for deploying and maintaining classified IT infrastructures.We pride ourselves on developing world-class talent in an inclusive atmosphere. This position is onsite in McKinney, TX. What YOU will do:

• You will provide System Administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows (Primary OS) and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment.
• You will have an understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and Linux integration methods.
• You will be working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
• You will understand data RAID; data backup uses and technologies. Install and configure software applications requested by end users.

Qualifications you must have:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).
• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• You must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements within 6 months of start date.
• Experience with security infrastructure products and capabilities.
• Must have experience with Windows and Linux/Unix server and workstations.
• Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, VDI (Horizon), and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
• Experience with Windows architecture, deployment, administration, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity products.
• Experience with application installation and multi-server environment/deployment.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with NetApp.
• Scripting Experience (PowerShell, Ansible, Python)
• Experience hardening systems using tools like SCAP and following STIGs.
• Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
