Systems Administrator, Operations

Tenet3® is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. As a Systems Administrator, you will join the team that is responsible for:

• Internal Services Administration. We maintain our own server room and deliver services that are critical to the company’s success (like Gitlab).
• Network Management. We provide connectivity and security for our hybrid workforce.
• End-User Support. We ensure our fleet of Apple Products provide a productive and secure environment for our team members. We support them via a ticketing system.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or a similar discipline. One year of college education is equivalent to two years of relevant work experience.
• Eligibility for DoD Security Clearance.
• Proficient Linux Administration skills, comfortable with command line.
• Experience managing Apple Devices.
• Familiarity with Business Networks: VLANs, Wireless Access Points, DNS, TLS, and Proxies.
• Ability to support team members’ IT requests with a user-focused mindset.
• Willingness to learn new things and the tenacity to conquer difficult problems.

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 or more years of relevant experience;
• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
• Knowledge of secure computing practices such as least-privilege, encryption and key management.
• Experience in any of the following technologies:
  • Docker/Podman
  • Docker Compose
  • Ansible
  • Fortinet
  • Xen
  • JAMF / Apple Business Manager
  • Gitlab

Location

This is an in-office position, located in Dayton Ohio.  Some ability to work from home in the Dayton area is available on a flexible basis. Paid relocation available to the Dayton region
