Job Opportunity:

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has a unique and exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join its Information Technology team in Boston, MA. Your initial focus will be accountable for understanding the business requirements, system processing implications, and data needs of Billing and cash application applications that support BHSI's global needs of billing Brokers and Customers. You will partner with both Business leaders and IT resources to translate business needs into system requirements and technical specifications working together with the delivery leads.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop business requirement documentation, use cases, mockup screen designs, and workflow diagrams.
• Elicit requirements using interviews, documentation analysis, requirements, and workshops.
• Work with teams that are geographically dispersed and comprised of all disciplines, such as project managers, architects, business analysts, developers, and testers
• Provide regular status updates to the stakeholders and escalate issues/risks on time
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Good understanding of Billing applications
• Minimum 3 years experience in a BA/BSA/Product Management Role supporting complex systems development or packaged software implementation efforts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, subject matter experts, and vendor resources.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
• College degree preferred.
