The role, at a glance:
The primary purpose of this role is to partner with Biamp functional leaders to provide effective business applications and processes in support of corporate operations and objectives. As a member of the team, your efforts will be focused on understanding and implementing core business application capabilities to enable Biamp business operations.Â
Biamp is implementing a new ERP system and updating business processes to position itself for continued growth and acquisitions. This position fills a key role in shaping the application implementation and establishing subject matter expertise within the IT group to support Biamp into the future.Â
How you’ll contribute:Â
Be the functional lead to train and collaborate with your team, subject matter experts and end-users to define and implement ERP solutions, including data and process integration models.Â
Support the productivity of ERP and extended functions by troubleshooting, identifying root cause, and implementing process, system improvements or user-training in response to issues.Â
Develop relationships with multiple teams and partners to work together to identify and develop solutions that meet business objectives.Â
Perform application configuration tasks to validate potential solutions.Â
Provide direct user support on key applications, integrations, and system issues.Â
Perform ad-hoc data analyses to provide answers to business questions and troubleshoot reported issues.Â
Create Functional Requirements Documents as well as user and testing documentation for applications; review documentation created by others to ensure high quality and adherence to standards.Â
Elicits requirements through interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.Â
Partner with subject matter experts in re-engineering of business processes to align with best practices and system capabilities.Â
Responsible for tracking, prioritizing, and reporting status of multiple initiatives.Â
Develop appropriate subject matter, domain expertise in core business applications, data models and system integrations.Â
Ensure developed solutions are easily understood, production-ready and meet defined specifications from stakeholders.Â
Remain current with technology and the latest ERP solutions; maintain willingness to learn new skills.Â

A successful candidate should have:
5 years of experience as a Systems/Business Analyst or equivalent experience in a functional role (Finance/Accounting, Manufacturing Operations, Order Management, etc.) combined with solid technical aptitude.Â
Experience providing solutions, configuring, and supporting one or more ERP, CRM or, PLM systems.Â
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Â
Proficient multitasker, and a good judge of where to focus time and effort.
Effectively explain complex technical concepts in pictures and words that are understandable to a broad (including non-technical) audience.Â
Experience in leading analysis sessions with users to capture and define data requirements clearly, completely, and correctly.Â
Some nice-to-haves:Â
Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer/Information Science, or related field preferred, experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.Â
Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.Â
Experience with Agile software development methodologies a plus.Â
Work environment:
- This is an onsite position based in Beaverton, OR.
- Routine use of standard office equipment.
- Stand or sit for long periods.
- Minimal travel, less than 5%.
