Job Description
SUMMARY
The Channel Systems Analyst will evaluate business requirements for multi-platform technology and digital applications, assist in the delivery of new or modified systems enhancements and integration solutions, and provide application support to those systems and solutions. This position will collaborate with stakeholders and serve as the intermediary for the lines of business, most areas of IT, and digital banking partners. Mentors junior-level analysts and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures. Communicate with Bank department managers and senior leadership to promote efficient and approved workflow.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Manages vendor relationships and holds vendors accountable to their deliverables
- Understands vendor roadmaps, manages relationships, feedback and escalations
- Participate in UX planning for improving existing processes and building new features and functionalities.
- Building and maintaining the team backlog that is prioritized based on the business value and other key business drivers
- Partner with other business leaders to develop stories through an Agile process and is ultimately accountable for signing off and accepting the story has met the expected requirements
- Independently leverages Digital or Technology research, business and market intelligence, and data-driven insights to identify opportunities, propose solutions, and improve performance
- Provide second and/or third level support for daily maintenance and support of applications including system administration and resolution of issues.
- Assists in maintaining and enforcing IT policies. Documents standard operating procedures, workflows and systems.
- Document results of activities using the appropriate processes in accordance with the Bank's documentation and project methodology standards.
- Participate in the analysis and evaluation of current business and system processes, interfaces and workflow.
- Excellent trouble shooting skills, familiarity with test tools, and a drive to quickly fix issues
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures
- Complete all required compliance exams on an annual basis
- Travel up to 10% of the time, possible
- Performs other duties as assigned
EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline from an accredited four-year college or university or 7 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
- Seven (7) years Digital/Technology Product Management experience, to include experience in innovation, user experience, process engineering, analytics, and/or research/testing OR an advanced degree and 6 years of experience.
- Four (4) or more years of business analyst support with a major digital banking system acting as liaison between the business units, technical staff and/or system provider.
- Three (3) years' experience working in an Agile environment preferred
- Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of Technology/Digital products and emerging technology platforms
- Robotic Process Automation Experience Preferred
- Proven track record to effectively develop, influence, present and communicate highly complex business, digital, or technology concepts to cross-functional teams, non-technical users and senior leadership.
- Strong attention to detail, deadlines with a focus on effective communication to peers and senior leaders
