About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to provide support, design and direct upgrades/enhancements to existing systems, retire/replace existing systems, and implement new systems to stay current with technological, industry, and regulatory needs/issues.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate as a Business Line Systems resource with IT and Business teams- implementing technical solutions for the business needs
  • Create a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business
  • Gather information, analyze user needs, scope and objectives, and work with project teams to establish quality project requirements
  • Complete User Acceptance Testing of system updates, changes, and enhancements
  • Utilize systems to generate reports and develop and produce requested reports
  • Collect data and update systems information via manual input or upload
  • Provide end user systems support, consultation, and recommendations in resolving technical problems on a rotation schedule
  • Monitor systems and databases for functionality and availability to users, troubleshoot, and respond to user inquiries
  • Research, analyze, assist with the design, testing, and implementation of applications, sometimes working in cooperation with internal departments and external vendors
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Strong knowledge of the flow of work which includes forecasting, release planning, sprint planning and process improvement efforts
  • Ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria for system epics and features
  • Ability to deliver on multiple competing priorities with little supervision
  • Strong computer skills, specifically with SQL, SharePoint, Excel, and Business Objects
  • Ability to create and execute user acceptance test scripts
  • Relationship building skills to work effectively with a variety of individuals at all levels throughout the bank and provide excellent internal customer service
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  • Advance proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook (Officer 365)

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 4+ years banking experience required
  • 2+ years systems experience required
  • Waterfall, Agile, and SCRUM experience preferred
