Job Description:

The Senior Systems Analyst will support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) by providing program analysis, strategic planning, and operational oversight. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to align DHA’s programs with Department of Defense (DoD) policies and strategies. The Senior Systems Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, manage program requirements, and ensure effective system implementations.

Key Requirements:

• Engage with stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for new systems or enhancements, including user stories and use cases.
• Provide strategic planning, resource management, and operational oversight to align DHA programs with DoD training and education strategies.
• Develop high-level design specifications and provide technical guidance on system functionalities, integrations, and solutions.
• Support the development, drafting, and management of DoD policy issuances, including instructions and directives.
• Oversee the execution of test plans, including system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure systems meet defined requirements.
• Manage the implementation of new systems or enhancements, ensuring a smooth transition to production environments and providing ongoing support.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination across DoD offices and external organizations.
• Lead project planning activities, including defining scope, timelines, and resources, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, evaluating and recommending tools or processes to enhance system efficiency and contribute to the organization’s IT strategy.
• 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• IMA- Information Management Systems or related field
