Systems Architect

This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Systems Architect in order to support its government customer based in Chantilly, VA. The Sponsor needs to upgrade this testing network and is seeking a Candidate to design and implement said network including all hardware and software. The Candidate shall provide a design to the Sponsor, who will procure the hardware and software. While the Sponsor conducts said procurement functions, the Candidate shall begin DevOps functions, including creating, configuring and connecting virtual machines to simulate a variety of disparate network environments that the network is intended to host. After receipt of all procurements by the Sponsor, the Sponsor shall provide said procurements to the Candidate to configure and connect at the Contractor's facility in order to demonstrate Initial Operating Capacity (IOC). Upon successful IOC, an integration phase that includes physically transporting equipment into the Sponsor's facility will be completed, for which the Candidate shall then provide onsite expertise and advice while the Sponsor performs the physical installation and integration with existing infrastructure.

Position Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience with ICD503 security compliance
• Demonstrated experience in System Security Plan (SSP) documentation and accreditation process from Approval To Develop (ATD) through Approval To Operate (ATO)
• Demonstrated experience in the creation and submission of required documentation, security controls, monitoring, and remediation of the documentation packages submitted to the Sponsor's ISSM and accreditation databases.
• Demonstrated experience in building or architecting multi-user computer networks
• Demonstrated experience with network emulation in virtual settings
• Demonstrated experience with network security
• Demonstrated experience administering networks with diverse operating systems
• Demonstrated experience with network orchestration and automation.
• Demonstrated experience with installing network hardware and software in ICD503 environments.
• Demonstrated experience developing scope, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Demonstrated experience consulting with customers to determine present and future user needs.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing, evaluating, designing and recommending network and cabling infrastructure architecture.
• Demonstrated experience performing regression and unit and acceptance testing (UAT).
