Job Description

This specialized position plays a key role in running the operational processes for
successfully delivering storage and backup services to DOE business units. The
Enterprise Systems Technical Architect (Backup and Archiving) is responsible for
providing senior level operational support for Backup and Archiving Systems. This
includes managing, EMC Storage unites, Data domains, Rubrik and Data Archivers and
the HCI infrastructure.

This individual will be key in running the operational processes for successfully
delivering HCI, VRA for the new DOE DR and PDC projects. The individual will have
expert-level experience in virtualization, cloud, HCI and storage technologies.
This role will ensure DIIT’s position to architect and design storage and
virtualization /HCI/ cloud technologies. The resident expert will be able to articulate the
requirements to the vendor partners, and ensure the proposed solutions meet DOE
needs.

Qualifications

84 months of experience in (Backup and Archiving)  managing, EMC Storage unites, Data domains, Rubrik and Data Archivers

Exposure to Commvault Veeam will be a plus.
