Job Description

POSITION SUMMARYWorks with IT management in creating strategies and architectures for our cloud and application environments that are in line with industry best practices.

Responsible for assisting in the architectural design, development, and deployment of the banks overall systems. Defines system solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Works with peers through the phases of analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment to production.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Works with IT management in creating strategies and architectures for our cloud and application environments.
  • Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery.
  • Works with team to define, design, implement, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and support all aspects related to cloud platforms.
  • Provides technical expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously across multiple platforms.
  • Establishes, implements, and documents the technology integration or migration strategies.
  • Stays on top of the industry trend and new technologies for the system architecture.
  • Reviews security issues, rules and policies.
  • Elicits, identifies and captures requirements for the automation of internal business processes.
  • Develops process workflow models reflecting and improving existing business processes.
  • Participates in design solutions from captured requirements for internal deployment.
  • Constructs a solution with the appropriate technologies.
  • Coordinates and performs quality assurance on a solution prior to deployment.
  • Monitors and provides ongoing support for deployed solutions where such is needed.
  • Evaluates and pilots new technologies to meet ongoing needs.
  • Provides technical expertise on an ongoing basis.
  • Supports and advocates internal process initiatives.
  • Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.
  • Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Performs all other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Ten (10) or more years of related experience required.
  • Advanced level knowledge of MS Operating systems with proven experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working in cloud and virtual server environments
  • Working level knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Windows Server OS.
  • Knowledge of scripting and deploying infrastructure as code desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter, good organization.

EDUCATIONBachelor's Degree or equivalent. Industry certifications such as: Microsoft Solutions Architect, MCSE, TOGAF, or ITIL.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSAbility to travel to off-site locations for meetings, projects, seminars, etc., as well as ability to travel overnight.
