Job Summary

As the Systems Architect - Product Design Data, you will design and build the data architecture and automation that will guide the transformation of how product design data is created, captured, and utilized at Stryker.

Hybrid schedule is preferred, but remote is possible with a higher percentage of travel required.

What You Will Do

• Act as the primary systems process owner in the business and contact for respective functional leaders within the Research and Product Assurance organization, driving automation of manual system activities and driving value for the business in continuous assessment of impactful data input and use.
• Discern both tactical and strategic insights from Stryker's complex data ecosystems and for providing holistic insights and recommendations for digitized design tools and reporting.
• Lead the development and adoption of analytical tools, data models and dashboards for the Stryker Joint Replacement (JR) division to enable data-driven decisions and actions.
• Partner with JR business functions to connect design and quality data to business data and develop a proposal for system development to automate lifecycle management for products.
• Provide data-driven tactical & strategic guidance to business stakeholders and leaders, including compelling visualizations and storytelling.
• Collaborate closely with all functions across the organization (Product Development, Advanced Operations, Design Assurance, Quality Systems, Advanced Technology & Clinical Research, Regulatory Intelligence, Post Market Intelligence, Quality Operations) and function as the key point of contact for all business partners.
• Follow the Systems Engineering V model for mapping inputs, scaling requirements, and building/validating complex systems.
• Engage IT partners to ensure commitments for alignment, support and management.
• Collaborate with cross functions to gather business and technical requirements, ensuring key objectives are identified and prioritized, and develop and maintain the Key Performance Indicators.
• Develop and deliver training/consultations on how to use data and insights to drive decisions. Monitor use of reports and dashboards to gage value.
• Maintain thorough documentation of internal processes/procedures and projects.

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related, or equivalent experience of 6 years.
• 10+ years of related experience including 5+ years of digital platform architecture related experience.
• Experience architecting and building data systems required.
• A history of automating the use of data emanating from multiple systems required.
• Experience creating, automating, and maintaining business related systems and dashboards required.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects to develop efficient integration of multiple disparate systems and business processes required.
• A background building connected platform interfaces across functions for digitized Design History File creation and assembly required.
• Experience building environments for product design, development, or engineering functions preferred.
• Working knowledge and application of general quality tools such as FMEA, Process Control, and Root Cause Analysis preferred.
• Working knowledge of cross functional design control and post market processes preferred.

$122,800 - $272,400salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
