Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking a creative, team-oriented, mid-level systems engineer to join our team of technologists in designing, testing, and fielding air and ground robotics systems. We are developing tele-operated and automated solutions for the DoD including automated airfield damage and FOD assessment, explosive hazard mitigation, automated refueling, airfield damage repair, logistics, and construction automation. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an effort to integrate existing robotics technologies and conduct research and development of new robotics solutions to solve a range of challenging and unusual problems.

Job Requirements

• B.S. Degree in engineering or related scientific field and 5-10 years experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with complex systems engineering challenges that cross mechanical, electrical and software boundaries
• Experience with SysML or other SE frameworks

Preferred Candidates Will Also Have one or more of the Following:

• M.S. Degree in systems engineering or related scientific field and 3+ years experience
• Background in model-based systems engineering
• Experience in delivery and fielding of automation, robotics, or self-driving solutions
• Knowledge of the Army's ground robotics Interoperability Profiles and Autonomous Ground Vehicles Reference Architecture
