Systems Engineer
Team MERLIN is seeking a System Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical advisory services at Chantilly, VA. The successful candidate will:
- Provide secretariat function for the directorate-level system engineering integration boards and staff meetings.
- Assist other directorate facilitators provide secretariat functions for the Enterprise Integration Board (EIB) and the Enterprise Integration Council (EIC)
- Provide mission support to MOD elements as directed by the government. This support includes, but is not limited to performing offsite meeting preparation, participating in offsite meetings, providing support to the Chief of Staff and executive officer, providing advice to senior staff and briefing site mission highlights
- Attend daily preparation meetings with the MOD/Operations Engineering director
- Review action reports (TIERS) daily, assign to appropriate personnel developing action responses, aiding directors action staff when necessary
- Weekly activity reports backup, review, collect and submit to for not office
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field required; 9 years' of relevant experience
- Direct and current experience with National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)
- Knowledge of GEOINT and/or SIGINT overall space and ground architecture
- Self-starter, proactively addresses customer requirements with no supervision; expert at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics
- Polished communicator (written/verbal); impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment
- Master at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders -- consensus builder
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Outlook, MS Project
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with mission readiness process, familiar with control gates and associated documentation, entry/exit criteria
- Experience in mission operations environment - ops tempo, launch and initialization, performance characterization, utility analysis, system calibrations
