Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer. Troy, MI. Design, develop, and validate advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance vehicle safety. Analyze and ensure clear definition of scope of work requested by customers. Collect and maintain customer-specific product requirements/specifications. Analyze RADAR systems to define system functions and allocate system elements for functional architecture. Identify and create use cases (end-to-end functions) of systems/products/platforms. Refine use cases to identify system functions. Document use cases and system functions in product development documentation. Specify use cases and system functions and establish requirement traceability. Specify non-functional product requirements and processes, test and validation requirements, and manufacturing requirements. Ensure review of system requirements and resolution of issues. Participate in program increment planning, system check-out tests, demonstrations, and retrospectives. Perform bench-level systems integration testing. Requires Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and five years of progressive experience with creating test plans and test cases for automotive components, performing diagnostic testing, developing automated test procedures, conducting design change request analysis, performing software defect management, conducting vehicle testing and functional system validation, CAN, LIN, CANoe, and CANalyzer.
