ManTech is looking for a motivated, cleared Systems Engineer with a proven track record designing, deploying, securing and maintaining enterprise solutions in support of a secure Microsoft enterprise at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA.

The candidate will be responsible for working within an engineering team to develop secure technical solutions to solve business problems. Design, build, install, configure, operate, and maintain all current and future Information Systems. Duties and responsibilities involve research, design, build of secure enterprise solutions to include on premise and cloud servers, workstations, network equipment, network security solutions as well as maintaining system documentation, analyzing and troubleshooting system anomalies, and ensuring optimal Information System performance.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about Information Technology and Information Security, have a strong background designing, building, maintaining and securing technical enterprise solutions, preferably with experience in on premise and cloud virtualization technologies, understand networking, be willing to share your expertise and learn the expertise of others to facilitate the development of a well-rounded technical skill set.

Responsibilities Include:

• Designing, build and maintain enterprise technical solutions
• Build and maintain networks, storage, servers, databases, virtual machines, backups, patch management, and network security solutions
• Market research, best practices, secure engineering concepts, security compliance

Position requirements:

• Requires Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in the Information Technology field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2016/2019 Server, Microsoft Windows 10, and Office 2016
• Knowledge of enterprise grade Routers, Switches, Firewalls and Security Appliances
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft SharePoint
• Experience deploying virtual machines in AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of Mobile Device Management and the iOS Operating System
• CISSP, Security+ or Network+ certification preferred
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification or GIAC preferred
• Experience with administration of VMware, Hyper V, Horizon View, virtual machines preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must be open to 10% annual travel
