Systems Engineer

Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for Systems Engineers of all levels of experience, from Junior to Journeyman, to provide full life-cycle systems and software engineering. The successful candidate will ensure uptime, performance, resources, computer security, server security, and that systems meet user requirements and align with the enterprise IT policies and best practices. The position will be located in the DC Metro/Northern Virginia Area and require an active security clearance. Level of security clearance required will be commensurate on years of experience, with a minimum of a Secret clearance and going up to TS/SCI level.

Required Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in systems or software engineering
• Experience in full life cycle engineering to include requirements derivation, requirements analysis, hardware and software knowledge, metrics creation and analysis, systems architecture
• Experience with integration and test environments
• Experience managing and maintaining configuration and operation of computer systems and servers
• Working experience providing routine automation, maintaining security policies, and troubleshooting
• Experience with automating system and application configurations 
• Experience using the following tools and technologies: Office 365 ProPlus, PowersShell, Azure, Active Directory, vSphere, Linux, RHEL, and Unix
• Well-versed knowledge of infrastructure tools including but not limited to DNS, DNCP, VDI, SQL Server, IIS, Apache, SAN, Hyper-Converged, LAN, WLAN, VLAN, OSI model, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, PKI, and AWS
• US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance or TS/SCI security clearance
