Requirements: You have 5+ years of experience as an Electrical or Systems Engineer, preferably working in the Automotive industry.

Requirements

Core responsibilities

• Design electrical systems
• Convert product requirements into technical specifications
• Oversee and document FMEAs (Failure Modes and Effects Analyses)
• Analyze "make vs. buy" options
• Design system diagrams and schematics
• Help define supplier needs and manage relationships
• Work with other engineering teams to optimize system design
• Understand the links between the vehicle, power system, and controls
• Participate in engineering assessments and reviews

Required

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of professional experience as an Electrical or Systems Engineer
• Understanding of control circuitry and electrical schematics
• Experience with modeling using Matlab/Simulink
• Strong understanding of electric power systems
• Understanding of mechatronic systems
• Strong understanding of electrical safety
• Experience with Python

Ideal candidate

• Knowledge of automotive standards (safety standards)
