Systems Engineer - Automation

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks for various IT processes and workflows, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• Evaluate existing systems and propose improvements through automation tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automated processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Document automation processes and maintain clear communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in automation practices.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on automation.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and knowledge of automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their automation services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security practices, and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed team.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• A broad understanding of IT services, trends, and best practices in automation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
