Systems Engineer II

Summary

Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization. Lead technology innovation across all departments at BASYS; responsible to drive increased efficiency, metric observation, and automation with current and future technology products. Identify products and services that will help the organization achieve its goals. Engage stakeholders in all levels of the organization to design, construct and implement new solutions or new processes within the technology arena. Manage vendors for quality and budget adherence. The preferred candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced team deeply engaging with the latest web and mobile technologies, business analytics, machine learning, automation, and solving scalability and performance challenges on the cloud.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Consult with internal and external users or partners to determine technology product and process requirements
• Consult with and help define organizational goals related to technology resources
• Design technology architecture
• Build and manage project plans for technology development and implementations
• Review and select technology products and vendors
• Conduct training followed by user acceptance reviews and design enhancement requests to existing technology product and process
• Proficient with the following or similar technologies: Nintex RPA, Sugar CRM, Zendesk, Salesloft, Marketo, ETL Platform, Power BI, Tableau and any other applications running the business
• Monitor existing systems to ensure structural integrity
• Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software
• Ensure constant availability of technical resources
• Write custom scripts to reduce the need for human intervention

Additional Responsibilities

• Review and manage vendors engaged for technology projects
• Design and implement any transition once initial technology project is concluded
• Complete administrative activity around new technology implementations
• Maintain contract requirements and budgets of technology vendors
• Evaluate efficacy of deployed technology solutions
• Any additional requirements as assigned by direct manager

Requirements

• This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to three days per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or other related fields is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, Project Planning tools.
• Knowledge of Bankcard industry and its procedures, knowledge of project planning and project management
