KBR is currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer, Integrator to join our team in our Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD location. In this role, you will support our customer, Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics (PM IS&A).

Systems Engineer, Integrator (Intermediate)
KBR is currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer, Integrator to join our team in our Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD location. In this role, you will support our customer, Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics (PM IS&A).
- This position is embedded in the Tactical Systems Integration Facility (TSIF) lab supporting PM Mission Command.
- This position serves as the PM IS&A lead interface performing Integration and Interoperability testing with the Mission Command suite of systems. Limited teleworking available when not supporting event activities.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provides engineering and technical assistance to support the system objectives and ensure an integrated approach to product delivery into the C5ISR family of systems.
- Identifies interoperability issues/gaps/shortfalls.
- Generates architecture-based analysis plans, technical assessments, white papers, and technical reports.
- Review and analyzes System of Systems (SoS) and C5ISR architecture artifacts and baselines as well as participate in program reviews and make independent evaluations of technical adequacy and completeness of the evolving program architecture and architecture related activities.
- Reviews PM IS&A overarching requirements and provide input into the establishment of hardware and software requirements.
- Performs verification and validation of architecture information to promote consistency, interoperability, and integration.
- Analyzes system concepts and designs.
- Provides recommendations for optimization.
- Prepare, review, and updates existing engineering and technical documentation, as required, to support timely and effective acquisition milestones.
- Prepare/contribute and updates the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) as appropriate.
- Attends meetings and conferences to support knowledge transfer and to maintain the currency of technical documentation; meetings will be with national and executive agencies; higher headquarters; staffs; combatant commands of strategic interest, Joint Coalition, and Multinational partners.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, System or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Seven (7) years of related experience required.
- Seven (7) years of direct experience performing installation, configuration and troubleshooting of information technology systems required.
- Experience administering (installing, configuring and troubleshooting) systems running in Windows, Linux and VMWare environments.
- Experience in the intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance mission area.
- Experience with the use and testing of ISR software systems.

- ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret / SCI
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19, per Executive Order 14042, subject to exemptions as required by law.
Work Environment:
- This position may be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, commercial and/or government offices, test and integration labs, government facilities and depots, and test & evaluation and proving grounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
