Systems Engineer Lead

System Lead Engineer. Troy, MI. Serve as System Lead Engineer for automotive interior sensing technology projects and ensure systems engineering deliverables are achieved. Generate systems engineering management plan (SEMP) incorporating program and customer timing. Estimate requirements for test benches. Define and obtain required tools for systems team. Generate block diagrams to communicate design and architecture. Perform requirement management. Ensure bi-directional traceability is achieved for all requirements. Ensure functional safety requirements are properly identified. Ensure all work products meet ASIL B functional safety level. Analyze customer requirements, clarify requirements with customer, and communicate requirements to project team. Lead and/or support presentations and meetings with customers. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for hardware and software issues. Requires Master's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related and two years of experience developing software for the automotive industry. Experience must include: developing vehicular interior sensing systems, performing software architectural design, estimating timelines and resources for software development, collaborating with global engineering teams, and use of Enterprise Architect, JIRA, Plato e1ns, and ISO14229.
