Our Radar Sensor Systems (RSS) Engineering team has an immediate opportunity for a Systems Engineer with a wide breadth of system engineering experience to support the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) program. The Systems Engineer will perform analysis at all levels of the total system product including concept, design, fabrication, modeling, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.

The Systems Engineer will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems in addition to managing the configuration process needed to perform the following tasks: 1) functional analysis, 2) timeline analysis, 3) detail trade studies, and requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Required Skills:

Minimum 5+ years of related systems engineering experience in system design, integration and test, and product transition to production

Airborne sensor hardware design and/or systems engineering experience in development and production program

Develop processes which include integrating many steps into the single best approach for production of the sensors

Test plans and procedures meet the needs of delivering quality products

Laboratory test, aircraft integration, flight test, and qualification of airborne systems

Experience working with multi-disciplined team

Written and verbal communication skills

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within one year of start date

Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance within one year of start date

Desired Skills:

Active and in-scope DoD Top Secret US security clearance is preferred.

Factory and production experience in commercial and/or defense industries, developing and executing factory test plans, procedures, and equipment

Model Based System Engineering tools (DOORS Next Gen, Cameo)

Required Education:

Typically requires a Bachelor degree in a related STEM discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline. A related advanced degree is preferred but not required
