We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our Payments team to help drive and deliver new features. As an engineer, you will work closely with our product management, development, and test teams to ensure successful product implementation. This position will also require the ability to debug technical issues and unwind customer reported problems. 

 

What you might be doing:

  • Work with developers to resolve complex technical issues in web development and billing processes 
  • Quickly develop product specific knowledge to become a subject matter expert 
  • Documentation of process to support the creation of new features and problem reporting for remediation 
  • Tier 3 support for Payments team

Who you are:

  • 2+ years experience with:
  • Supporting SaaS applications 
  • Writing SQL queries 
  • Debugging websites 
  • Billing platforms 
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to help problem solve 
  • Extra credit: Software development team experience, in an engineering, test or DevOps role 
  • Extra credit: Coding experience (Elixir or similar) 
  • Extra credit: Stripe experience
