Job Description

Torch Technologies is currently seeking an experienced systems engineer/analyst to support Tactical Missile System (TACS) initiatives in a team centric environment on Redstone Arsenal. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, as well as part of a team.

The position consists of performing missile system modeling and simulation execution; analysis tool development, pre- and post-flight data generation; and algorithm testing and analysis. Some travel may be required in support of flight tests.

Position requires that candidate meets requirements to obtain a final security clearance to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.

Job Requirements
• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• 0-2 years of experience
• Experience with MATLAB, C++, python, or other programming languages. Knowledge of Fortran a plus.
• Proven complex problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Desire to learn new skills, tools, models, and simulations
• Desire to program and analyze software
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative environment which includes multiple government and contractor teams
• Positive attitude
• Strong work ethic
• Capable of working in a diverse, multi-disciplined group
