Systems Integration Specialist (New Grad)

As a Systems Integration Specialist (New Grad), you will be responsible for ensuring the successful integration of new technologies and features into our products. You will work within the Systems Architecture team to develop and execute systems verification plans. 

In this role, you will

• Be responsible for verifying that our products meet their system-level requirements. 
• Be responsible for working alongside Systems Architects to demonstrate proof-of-concept for new product features 
• You will have a particular focus on coherent optical interfaces and their integration into our products 
• Help drive investigations to root cause and ensure issues are brought to resolution, both during new product introduction and over the lifespan of the product 
• You will participate in the definition of system-level product requirements 
• A significant portion of your time will be spent testing systems in a lab environment

The Must Haves:

• Strong communication skills
• Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related program
• Experience working in a lab environment, and setting up and using test equipment
• Experience using Python

The Assets:

• Basic understanding of photonic networks and optical impairments
• The ability to effectively identify and solve problems
