SYSTEMS MANAGER

The Systems manager is the GE MUSE System Owner. This person will be looked upon as the GE MUSE expert for Montefiore Medical Center and the Montefiore Health System. This role's responsibilities include managing, overseeing and being responsible for all aspects of the GE MUSE System and all the EKG modalities. This includes and is not limited to understanding and controlling the following areas within the GE MUSE system: Setup, Status, Database Status and Management, MUSE Editor, Troubleshooting and Maintenance, System Documentation and System Training. Responsible for the daily operations of the GE MUSE System at all Montefiore Sites. Works in coordination with all Montefiore Clinical and IT Associates interacting with the GE MUSE System and the EKG Acquisition Carts. Responsible for involvement and leading all EKG-related projects. The Systems manager in collaboration with Montefiore IT will provide on-site support for PACS and ISCV applications, and Stress Testing equipment. Supports and promotes Montefiore Standards of Excellence. Ensures quality customer services for all patients and internal and external staff.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee functioning of the GE MUSE System from EKG Acquisition through Report result to EPIC. GE MUSE System Setup including:

• Site and Locations• Users and Roles• Devices & Formats• Report Distribution • Statement Library

• MUSE System Status including:

• Print Queue• Newly Acquired Queue, Acquisition Log, Discarded Data List, Format Queue, Edit Change Log, and Discard Log• Application Log• Process Log

• Muse System:

• Database Maintenance and Searches• Muse Editor Presets and Profiles• Backups

• Resting & Stress EKG Carts, Troubleshooting, System Documentation, Training
• Demonstrates professional competency and accountability for job performance
• Ensure and recommend purchase of products, equipment, supplies to support new and existing programs
• Produce Monthly statistics and financial reports for upper management and QA reports for the lab
• Attend meetings and join teams, which will benefit the staff, department, and customers i.e., management meetings
• Monitor department's environment and coordinate patient flow between business and clinical processes
• Assist the Director with special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Associate degree IT required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of experience
• Thorough knowledge of MUSE systems as well as EKG machines and Stress Test equipment; Epic training required
