KBR is seeking a highly dedicated Systems / Network Administrator to support the NRO's Advanced Systems and Technology (AS&T) Directorate. AS&T is the research and development (R&D) organization for the NRO and provides innovative technology solutions that enable the NRO to solve the most challenging National security issues. The person will be responsible for supporting operations and maintenance, customer support, architectural enhancements, and IT-IA-IM compliance of AS&T networks and environments.

The person will be responsible for supporting operations and maintenance, customer support, architectural enhancements, and IT-IA-IM compliance of AS&T networks and environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Systems / Network Administrator responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, support, andadministration of multi-user/system networks, workstations, laptops and other peripherals for Windows-based system and applications.
- Perform hardware, software, and operating system installs and upgrades
- Provide configuration management controls and O&M of Windows and Windows-based applications.
- Provide superior customer service; possess strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills in a dynamic customer-centric environment.
- Apply knowledge of provisioning hardware, storage, resources, and configuration/administration, to maintain high network availability and appropriate failover services.
- Provide support for IT asset management and property control processes in managing laptops and related IT infrastructure inventory through the customers control systems.
- Ensure all accounts, end-user equipment and networks comply with security requirements and IAVA reporting and tracking.
- Support network upgrades and procurement activities, research and obtain quotes for hardware/software based on customer requirements.
- Occasional travel may be required
- Minimum 4-6 years relevant technical experience including relevant IT system or Network certification; OR 2-4 years with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management, Information Systems; OR 0-2 years with a Masters degree
- Knowledge and application of systems/network administration principles, customer agency, and technical domain experience.
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level 2: GSEC, Security+, SSCP, CCNA-Security
- Experience as a Windows System Administrator
- Experience implementing configuration management and version control,
- Certification and training in Windows and Windows-based applications
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
