Job Summary

The Systems Operations Analyst will be responsible for assisting the CGA department in the implementation, maintenance, and administration of CGA's core system, performing engineering, integration, logistics, and continuous support. You will keep abreast of the latest technology in a hands-on role that provides an opportunity to impact our systems' future direction and design. You will gain broad exposure to Comcast Corporation through the audit process in this role.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

What You Deliver

• Maintains confidentiality, integrity, and availability of CGA systems
• Provides assistance in resolving identified security incidents and escalates issues to the security team as necessary
• Implements, installs, configures, monitors, troubleshoots, and evaluates existing and new environments in AWS, VM, or bare metal solutions, including Microsoft or Linux instances
• Provides assistance in solving engineering problems in the assigned functional area
• Interacts with CGA team members and inputs their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design
• Provides support to technical staff regarding system administration and usage
• Applies system administration practices to identify and resolve technical issues and coordinate various resolutions with other functional disciplines
• Assists in the provisioning and tracking user access to department resources
• Ensures business continuity by monitoring systems/environment availability
• Evaluates new procedures, innovative techniques, and methods and reports out to leadership.
• Supports projects and evaluates system requirements to assist with successful project completion
• Monitors systems for required updates and patches
• Monitors disk utilization, perform upgrades and support SAN, VM, or Cloud environments
• Assists CGA team members in gaining access to remote access applications, install required software, train users, and resolve technical issues
• Follows and enforces policies and procedures and escalates as needed
• Supports department objectives and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree
