Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. seeks a Systems Programmer Analyst in Boston, MA, to design, code, and unit/system test any new requirement and change requests prior to User Acceptance Testing. Maintain issue logs. Design, develop, and deliver effective business applications. Perform application design through various lifecycle stages. Conduct data investigations across the full upstream and downstream life cycle of the application. Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing, and code quality automation. Remote work permitted 2 days per week.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related computer field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. 2 years of experience required in the following: developing, testing, and documenting new business applications and change requests by using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Micro Services, Web Services Security (OAuth2, IAM, SAML), Oracle, SQL, WebSphere, Tomcat, and MVC; designing and developing Micro Services in cloud environments, implementing secure development life cycle methodology in alignment with the latest technologies for business applications and services, and providing technical guidance to developers in planning, execution, and design architecture.
